Melon's Cottage welcomes families and carers with children currently undergoing treatment or who have completed their treatments for cancer/leukaemia, offering stays from Tuesday to Sunday's. The Cottage is also available for bereaved families for as long as needed.

The Cottage is supported by some incredible local businesses and amazing humans that help the Simpson’s year in year out. Run solely on donations and community members giving up their time to get their hands dirty, Melon’s Cottage is filled with love and joy and it is easy to feel as soon as you walk through the door.

Nestled in Kalimna about 5 minutes outside of Lakes Entrance), the Cottage sits on the doorstep of the 90 Mile Beach and is surrounded by fantastic local food and wine and spectacular places and environments for families to visit.

A folder is available which showcases the local support received through vouchers for food and experiences. This is what sets us apart…the local community support which has been ongoing for over 10 years now.
